Jetour Dashing Keys & Account Transfer: Handover Checks

Start a Dashing access handover with the physical keys actually supplied, then review any account functions offered separately. A seller’s working app or login cannot establish the next user’s permitted access. Record the applicable provider process, completed steps and services that remain unverified at the destination.

01

Count and demonstrate supplied access items

Ask for a key list tied to the selected car, with normal-use demonstrations of the applicable items. Record missing keys or separately supplied devices before comparing quotations. A model presentation may describe a standard package while a used vehicle no longer has every original item. A low-mileage or new label does not establish the contents delivered.

The handover checklist keeps those physical items with the vehicle reference. Where replacement work is proposed, have the appropriate provider define the task and completion evidence. The buying record should describe what is supplied and usable without requiring the receiving dealer to infer the key count from a brochure or one attractive photograph.

02

Identify the account-based functions offered

Specify the remote or connected functions that exist on the candidate and matter to the buyer. Different market and production descriptions can involve different dependencies. A visible menu is not proof that every service can be activated by the intended owner. Ask who provides each relevant service and what legitimate registration arrangement applies.

The connected-function review separates physical vehicle controls from account and regional services. For dealer stock that will later be sold to another customer, identify both receiving stages. A temporary preparation association may not be the correct final-user arrangement. Keep the responsible party and required outcome explicit instead of relying on the seller’s continued personal access.

03

Confirm the permitted prior-user process

For a used car, ask how previous permissions or associations are handled through the responsible provider. Receiving instructions is not the same as completing release. Request the relevant result while keeping credentials and unnecessary personal material private. Do not accept a previous owner’s password as the buyer’s permanent support arrangement.

A display reset or removal of saved destinations can address cabin data without resolving every provider-side relationship. Use the software preparation review to distinguish that work from ownership steps. If a required association cannot be legitimately changed, leave it as an acceptance issue and consider another candidate before treating access as complete.

04

Test the receiving user’s agreed arrangement

Where supported, demonstrate the essential permitted functions with the receiving user’s intended account and device. Let the user enter private authentication details themselves. Preserve the vehicle, date and relevant network context while excluding sensitive screens from shared reports. A successful sign-in should be followed by the actual tasks the buyer expects to use.

Keep source-market observations separate from destination availability. A service may require a provider, network or subscription that has not been established overseas. The phone-connection guide addresses a different task; cabin calls or projected maps working do not certify remote vehicle access or the transfer of a connected-service entitlement.

05

Use the appropriate new and used evidence

For new stock, ask how first-user setup is planned and whether a demonstration or preparation association already exists. For a used candidate, add prior-user release and disclosed key-replacement history. These routes can share the same customer requirement while needing different supporting records. A familiar trim description cannot close the access question on its own.

The condition buying guide connects those tasks with the agreed release checks. If a missing item or service step is included in preparation, name the provider and completion point. A vague promise to fix the app after arrival is difficult for the receiving dealer to explain when the function is essential to the customer’s acceptance.

06

Keep a usable final handover result

Retain the vehicle reference, delivered items, demonstrated outcomes, completed provider steps and any limitation. Include the agreed support route. Keep passwords and recovery information controlled by the proper user rather than storing them in a general vehicle report. The recipient should understand what has been established without accessing someone else’s private account.

For batch orders, keep individual records where items or setup stages differ. One demonstration cannot certify all vehicles with the same badge, and a substitute unit needs its own relevant review. The finished record should separate physical access, legitimate receiving-user control and still-dependent services, allowing the dealer to describe the delivered arrangement accurately without promising unrestricted future connectivity.
