Jetour Dashing Cabin & Luggage Checks for Importers

Describe what the Dashing must carry before comparing space claims. Passenger use, luggage access and the seat arrangement need to work together for your customer.

01

Start with the ordinary journey

Ask how many seating positions are needed and what luggage or work items usually travel with the occupants. State whether seats may be folded for larger items. A layout that works for occasional cargo may not suit daily passenger use. Keep the candidate’s original version clear when discussing space because a global reference image is not a measurement of every China-market Dashing.

02

Check the opening and the usable floor

Provide the outside dimensions of an item that determines acceptance and ask for relevant measurements or a suitable demonstration. The luggage opening, floor shape and seat position all matter. An advertised volume does not establish whether an awkward case can be loaded conveniently. Ask how measurements were taken and retain the reference so the receiving dealer can repeat the same practical check.

03

Look beyond upholstery appearance

Assess seat operation, passenger access, head restraints and the cabin functions that matter to the buyer. For a used car, record wear and any concern needing further investigation. A light-coloured interior photograph can show a design without proving current condition. Use the equipment checklist to request the required adjustments and controls instead of assuming that a similar-looking seat has the same functions.

04

Treat staged luggage images as illustrations

Our luggage image comes from Jetour’s global Dashing presentation and shows an outdoor reference scene. It does not prove the capacity, included accessories or condition of a candidate. Ask for the actual car’s luggage area and the relevant seat configuration. A camping image also does not establish off-road capability; choose the car against its verified specification and the intended use.

05

Document the customer’s non-negotiable items

Write down the measurements or access features that would rule out an offer. Distinguish them from preferences that can be discussed. Send these details in the Dashing sourcing enquiry rather than waiting until a version has been selected. This gives the supplier a practical target and helps the dealer explain why an otherwise attractive proposal may not suit the buyer.

06

A practical dealer request

For a customer transporting a particular equipment case, specify that it must fit while the required passenger seats remain usable. Request a candidate-specific measurement of both the opening and the storage position. A photo with unrelated bags is only a reference.

If a folding arrangement is acceptable, ask to see the mechanism operate and note which seats are unavailable in that arrangement. Keep the agreed loading configuration with the vehicle brief so a later comparison does not assume a different everyday use.
